In February of 1995, Reverend Patrick J. Caverly, V.G., pastor of the Church of the Annunciation, met with a group of his parishioners to determine if the parish was ready and willing to take on the challenge of starting a new school. Their response was so positive and enthusiastic that "The Promise and the Dream" of founding Annunciation Catholic Academy was begun. Visit our site to learn more... Annunciation Catholic Church Bishop Thomas Grady dedicated Annunciation on September 28, 1980, and for 16 months we were a satellite church of St. Mary Magdalen. Fr. Patrick Caverly was the pastor of both until January 14, 1982, we became a parish in our own right. Fr. Caverly was named pastor of Church of the Annunciation... Annunciation Child Care Center Annunciation Child Care Center (ACC) is a nationally accredited early childhood program for children ages six weeks through five years, providing a vital service to our parish by serving as a ministry to parents and their children.
