Good afternoon/good morning. Today we celebrate Thirty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Welcome to our parish celebration of the Eucharist. Our opening song is #

(Priest) Jesus shows us the path of life where the fullness of joy lasts forever.

Son of Man, your angels watch over us. Lord have mercy.

Son of Man, you care for us in our time of need. Christ have mercy.

Son of Man, you gather us from earth’s ends. Lord have mercy.

Priest: Only the Father knows our last day and hour. Until that time, let us offer God the wants and needs of creation.

For all those who profess the Gospel of the Lord and for all who serve in liturgical ministries...We pray to the Lord.

For the citizens of the earth’s nations and for all who strive to work out justice and peace together...We pray to the Lord.

For the Catholic Order of Foresters. We ask for your blessing on this organization as it serves the family needs of our parish...We pray to the Lord.

For those in the healing professions and for medical researchers and scientists...We pray to the Lord.

For those gathered here today and for all who await Christ’s coming...We pray to the Lord.

(Pause for Father’s Intentions) then say...

Reader: Father we thank you for our many blessings, and ask your help with these silent intentions. (Please do not say we pray to the Lord)

(Priest) Merciful and gracious God, your Son is present in our daily lives. Help us to be ready when he comes again. We ask you this through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.
