Ministries at Assumption Parish

Altar Servers: Altar servers assist the celebrant during mass. This ministry is open to boys and girls, fourth grade and older who have been baptized and received First Eucharist.

Eucharistic Ministers: These men and women are authorized to minister the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass.
-John Adamchik, coordinator
Pastoral Care of the Homebound: These men and women distribute Communion to the homebound.

Lectors: These men and women proclaim the Word of God during mass.
-Stasia Krempa, coordinator
Rite of Christian Initiation: A team of people who walk the spiritual journey with individuals who are seeking to come into the Catholic faith. The team consists of catechists, sponsors and people of hospitality who aid candidates in their discernment.
-Kathie Barlog, coordinator
St. Vincent de Paul Society: A group devoted to help those in need with food, staple and material items. This group strives to live their faith as Jesus did with dignity and integrity to humankind.

Ushers: The ushers serve the church as greeters and assist with the collection of the gifts for the Church.

Choir: Men and women who join in song to give glory and praise to God.
-Chris Misiak, organist, choir director and Liturgy/music coordinator
Instrumentalists: Men and women of all ages who use their musical talents to enhance the liturgical experience. This ministry is open to pianists, organists, purcussionists, woodwinds and brass players.
