Bishop John McNabb, Fr. Joe Hartman and Fr. Tim Cuny offered a beautiful mass on Saturday, Jan.11th, dedicated to the memory of Austin Catholic Prep and 200 alumni and guests at St. Clare Church in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. A very enjoyable time was had by all during this wine and beer reception which followed in the church Social Hall. Reports were presented by Denny Cavanaugh('66) on the Austin Alumni Association and Foundation, Ken Lucas('58) on the Golf Outing scheduled for June 16th at Gowanie Golf Club and Joel Stone('74) on the Austin Portico and memorabilia. Several classes had a great deal of fun arranging informal dinners after this annual mass and reception as "mini-reunions". If you were unable to come, we hope that you will be able to join us next year, or better yet, join us for the golf outing in June!
