What Is Scrip?

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”.  The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of CommUnity to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers.  Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. CommUnity buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center and local grocery stores at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to our families for full face value, and used at full face value.  The discount ? from 2% to 15% or more –  is CommUnity’s revenue!

When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like groceries, clothing, gas, dining, entertainment and other essentials.  With your participation, you will earn 1 point per $1 spent in scrip gift cards towards your Leibold Loyalty Points!

How to order your monthy Scrip

You must set up a family account and order on-line at www.shopwithscrip.com .  To register your family for on-line ordering you will be asked to provide a login name, password and the Bishop Leibold enrollment code:  79B66L644821

Please fill in ALL the requested & Optional fields, including your student/classroom teacher name for delivery options.  Once complete, you can begin to shop online.      

                                *Ordering deadline is midnight on the first day of the month.*

Payment Methods

1.       While on the ShopWithScrip.com website, you can register with PrestoPay™, the preferred method to pay for your scrip order each month.  This is a safe and secure electronic checking account transfer system.  Simply register you checking account information, have it verified by PrestoPay™ and provide us with a final verification code in a couple days.  There is a nominal $.39 transaction fee for each PrestoPay order (no matter how large your order cost).   You may place your order on any day of the month prior to our order deadline, and your checking account will be debited your total within 24 business hours.

2.     We will also accept check payment sent in through school or the P.O. box  (CommUnity Scrip, P.O. Box 1441  Miamisburg, OH  45343).  You will still need to set up an account at ShopWithScrip.com and place your own order each month, and then mail in your check payment.  Your check must be received by the ordering deadline of the first day of the month or your order will not be processed.   Checks should be made payable to CommUnity Scrip, and sent to the attention of Scrip Processor

• All orders will be submitted electronically by our Scrip Processor on the 2nd of the month, received by the scrip team and sorted and delivered between the 10th-12th.

• During the school year you may authorize scrip to come home via your student carrier, or pick up at the east or west campus office.  During June, July and August, we will mail your order home, or arrange for pick up.

• We will send an email reminder of each month's upcoming deadline, as well as notification when your order will be brought home through school or mailed.

Kroger Rechargeable Card

Use the Kroger rechargeable card for all your grocery shopping visits.  Simply present your card to the cashier, prior to scanning your groceries, and load with any monetary amount (paid by cash, check or credit card), then swipe your Kroger card to pay for these purchases.  CommUnity recieves 4% of each dollar generated on your card.  Plus, you will also recieve 1 Liebold Point per $1 generated on your card!  Only cards obtained through CommUnity Scrip can be tracked for our rebates and give you your loyalty points.  To order a Kroger Card(s), please download the "Kroger Card Order Form" from the website and send in through school or PO box with your request and payment.
