HOW DOES COMMUNITY SCRIP WORK?
CommUnity purchases gift certificates from participating stores at a discount.
You purchase the certificates at full face value.
You spend the certificates in the stores and receive full value in merchandise.
CommUnity keeps the discount as the program’s profit.
You have just earned $$ for CommUnity without spending any extra money!
Print out an order form from this website. Fill in the quantities and values of each different grocery store, retailer or restaurant you normally visit during a given month. As you can see, we have many merchants to choose from.
Gift certificates are great for dining out, movie rentals, pizza and much more!
You can use the check boxes on the upper right of the order form to let us know if you’d like this same order every month (easiest method) or when you’d like to add some additional merchants for just one month.
You decide how you would like to pay for your monthly order, either by check or VISA or MC credit/debit card.
To pay by check, each month you need to send your order form, along with a check for the total amount, and mail to: CommUnity, PO Box 1441, Miamisburg, OH 45343-1441 to be received on or before the 5th of the month. Your check will not be deposited until approximately the 20th of the month. Your certificates will be mailed to you on approximately the 25th of the month. You may change your order each month by completing a new order form that you will receive with your certificates.
If you prefer to pay by credit/debit card, you need to complete the VISA/MC credit/debit card information on the order form. Then, each month, your card will be charged about 15 days prior to the mailing date, on approximately the 10th of the month. If you need to make changes to your regular monthly order, you can leave a message on the hotline at (937) 640-1011 or mail in a new form with your changes before the 5th of the month. Otherwise, just wait for your order on the 25th.
