Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #1121 at 311 S Lincoln Ave, Pierre, SD 57501 US - Home

WELCOME TO THE CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS
COURT ST. ANN #1121
Pierre, SD

We are a Catholic Daughter Court located in Pierre, SD.  We would like to welcome all Catholic Women, ages 18 and older, to become a member of our court.  We have meetings monthly which include prayers, praying the rosary, a program, a business meeting, and a lunch.  We meet Tuesday Nights at 7pm from September through June.

We meet at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Pierre all months except April when we meet at St. John's Catholic Church in Ft. Pierre.

We are an active group that is focused on the Unity of Catholic Women and Charity for those in need.  We work to feed our members spiritually and also reach out to others with our projects.  Some of our projects include: providing support to families at funerals, taking cookies to shut-ins during the Christmas season, collecting items for babies & children in need, conducting blood drives, increasing awareness about Domestic Violence through the CDA Lifesavers Abuse Awareness campaign while also collecting funds for Domestic Violence Programs in the area and statewde, keep our members alterted to actions to be taken via phone/email to local and national legislators on issues of moral concern, and many many more.

If you are interested in joining our wonderful organization or would like more information, please attend any meeting or contact us through the CONTACT PAGE to the left.

God's Blessings,
Court St. Ann #1121

STATE CONVENTION 2009 FUN!
The delegation from Pierre enjoyed a wonderful weekend of business, fun, and Catholic Sisterhood at the 2009 State Catholic Daughter Convention held April 17-19 in Rapid City SD. Attending from Pierre were: Vickie Feist, Therese Flesch, Pat Bernstein, Colleen Weiss, Marsha Berreth, Susan Stewart, Loretta Kunsman, Beth Lott, Virginia Jones, and Genevive Seibel. 2005-2009 State Chaplain Fr. Mike Griffin was also in attendance to celebrate Saturday mass and share his words of wisdom.

The next Catholic Daughter Convention will be held April 15-17, 2011 at the Ramkota Inn in Pierre. The delegation did a delightful presentation at the convention in Rapid City to invite the Catholic Daughters to Pierre for the weekend “down by the river”.
