(If it will be sent by college/university , attach a note saying so.) · Two letters of recommendation from persons with academic or professional communications experience, one of which is from a person presently working in Catholic Church Communications. · Two samples of your work in the field of communications (clippings, manuscripts, ad copy, radio or television scripts, video clips, etc.) · A statement of 300 to 500 words explaining why you are applying for this scholarship. This statement should include your plan for completing your education, including your planned date of graduation, the number of hours each semester you plan to take, financial need and your long term goals. · List of school activities, including position(s) held (internships) with communications-related groups, community service, and any awards or honors. Failure to include any of the above required material with the application can result in disqualification from consideration for the scholarship.
