Natural Family Planning classes for those seekisng to avoid pregnancy or space future pregnancies.

During each monthly fertility cycle, a woman's body provides certain signs to indicate the times of fertility and infertility.  NFP's Sympto-Thermal Method teaches the couple how to observe and intrepret these signs, enabling them to achieve or avoid pregnancy naturally.  Studies have shown that this method can be used at a 99% effectiveness rate, equal to the birth control pill and better than all barrier methods.  NFP classes are held regularly by the Natural Family Planning Office.

The series of four classes in the NFP course are spaced about a month apart to allow for instructional reading and charting of the woman's fertility cycle.  Cost is $70.  The fee includes the comprehensive Art of Natural Family Planning manual, a digital basal thermometer, chart book and a year's subscription to the Family Foundations Magazine.
