General Information 2010 Conference

As the Living Eucharist initiative continues to progress forward, the Diocese of St. Petersburg is announcing that on Friday, April 30th, and Saturday, May 1st, 2010, the next Living Eucharist Conference is scheduled for the Tampa Convention Center. The theme for the third year will be “Sent.” The keynote address will be presented by Fr. Timothy Radcliffe, OP, the former Master of the Order of Preachers (1992-2001).

Both conference days are open to all who wish to attend. Know that Friday’s event will be targeting as its audience the parish leadership people as well as school administrators and teachers in the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Friday’s conference will also conclude with a closing liturgy.

Saturday’s event is open to all with specific activities and sessions designed for youth, adults, and all those interested in developing ministries that reach out to the poor and marginalized, initiatives that promote a more just society all while exploring different ways to spread the Gospel. For, that is what we are called and sent to do – spread the Gospel by word and action.
