Girl Scouts Catholic Committee (Diocese of St. Petersburg) at 1600 54th Avenue South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33712 US - Memorandum to get Fingerprint report sent to Msgr Dechering

Memorandum to get Fingerprint report sent to Msgr Dechering

With all the Safe Environment laws, the Diocese requires that all those working with children,  receive a level II Background Fingerprint screening. Normally this is not required for Girl Scout Meetings or Events, unless the Pastor requires all who are dealing with children on the Church grounds to have this Level II Screening.

But when the volunteers are dealing with Church Related Activites, Religious Recogniton Medals and Catholic Girl Scout Retreat or Brownie Day, then this Volunteer Screening needs to be performed, as well as participation in the Safe Environment Program. Parishes and schools are not allowed to pass this information between themselves, but it is not necessary to have this rescreening done if it has previously been done by the Diocese. Instead a Memorandum is to be sent to the Safe Environment Program Office, asking them to send Msgr Dechering at Blessed Trinity Parish a copy of the report.
A copy can be download below, and you can complete it and send it to the Safe Environment Office.
