Minutes:
Corrections to the minutes were Kathi Durborow was not getting emails about the Cursillo’s Nation wide and John Kapozzeli is Cappozelli. Changes were made and minutes were accepted.

Treasurer's Report:  The balance of our accounts were: $7907.52. Of the (2) missing checks one was recovered the other one was Clem’s and someone was going to get in touch with him. John Kashi asked if we could close the account at Member’s 1st. Nancy was going to cash the CD and close that account and/or get the true balance. Treasurer’s Report was accepted.
Committee Reports:

Pre-Cursillo Committee:

There were 12 Men’s Candidates to attend the Men’s weekend thus far. Some concerns were raised about handicapped candidates for Danville and the problem was resolved. Inquiries were made for summer weekends.
The Women’s there was 1 Women held over from Fall and 4 Women recalled for the Summer Weekend.
Cursillo Committee:

Men’s Weekend was coming up and the Men were ready. The Summer Weekend was scheduled for July 30- Aug.2, 2009 at Millersville. The Spiritual Director will be Father Hahn and Assistant will be Deacon Gorini.
The Women’s Weekend went great with 27 total Candidates. Nancy brought up some issues that occurred on the weekend and expressed that we need to add a question about smoking to the application. Nancy also had discussed parts of the Manual and would review them for Gary. Michael Howe raised an issue about the Kitchen expenses and felt that a budget needed to be given for future weekends, possibly $5.00 a person for Danville and $10.00 a person in Millersville.

Post Cursillo Committee:

No Report.

School of Leaders:

In total 27 people attended the School of Leaders seminar. A link has been made to view any of the talks/Rollo’s from both weekends and was hoping to make the links easier to access. The next School of leaders will be held April 18, 2009 in Lebanon.

Communications: -

A New Day –  Rita had finished the New Day and it should be arriving to everyone soon. Also she is still looking for a replacement.

Website  –  There will be a Men’s Retreat held at the CardinalKeelerCenter on April 4, 2009. This will be placed on the website for all who are interested in attending. Also a suggestion was made to add Kathi’s email address to the website for prayer requests where the prayer requests had been.

Palanca Net  –   22 palanca net requested. 1 email address change, 5 subscribed,0 came off, 40 prayer requests and 17 Cursillo related questions.

Database– Gary stated that Michael C. had sent out a mailing and with that mailing we would find out all the bad addresses and take them off.

Week End Palanca The Hock’s will be stepping down and the new Weekend Palanca Coordinator’s will be Jerry and Trish Mazieka.

Old Business: - Mailings with the actual number and return addresses should be added or given to the New Day Editor ( The tape needed to be turned over and missed a part of this)

New Business: - A new Cursillista Peggy Gaizaukas, who is an artist by profession, came and made a presentation of a Cursillo Icon for Secretariat and future weekends to use. It will be done by Peggy in wood and for our Secretariat to use for all weekends she also hopes it will bring in revenue for our movement and was moved to do this when she heard we were in need of funding. She has 2 other paintings commissioned at this time but would have it to us as soon as possible. All who attended this meeting felt honored and blessed by such as wonderful presentation and giving from Peggy.

Spiritual Director – Msgr. Smith expressed his gratitude to all who attend especially Peggy and told us that our weekends were definitely prosperous even though some things did not go as we would have liked by that sometimes God writes straight with Crooked lines ( He quoted his Grandmother) and maybe we need to see that in our movement. He had also expressed that he would like us to start thinking and/or finding his replacement as he is getting ready to possibly retire.

Meeting ended at 8:55PM
Next Meeting: 1st Tuesday of April 7, 2009    7 - 9 p.m.

Respectfully submitted: Robin Schriner
