Holy Trinity Parish Garage Sale: An early reminder that the garage sale will be held on Saturday, September 16th. Start looking through your treasures that you do not need anymore and set them aside for the garage sale.

On - going fundraiser: Order your Sobey’s Grocery Cards through the parish office during office hours. For every order of $2000.00 of grocery cards the parish gets $100.00 back from Sobey’s. You can purchase $25.00, 50.00 or $100.00 cards.

Canada Health Day – May 12, 2012 Canada Health Day is celebrated in health care facilities and community services across the country. All Christians should celebrate and pray for the gift of health – physical, emotional, social and spiritual. This day reminds us that health and healing are essential aspects of our baptismal vocation. We are called to take responsibility for our personal health: to prevent illness and to seek a healthy lifestyle. Health means concern for the health of our communities, respect for God’s creatures and the nurturing of the whole earth.

Canadian Fiddle Champion Scott Woods and his Band pay tribute to “Fiddle Legends” Don Messer, Al Cherny, King Ganam Graham Townsend, Ward Allen and many others on Saturday, May 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the Fort MacLeod & District Community Hall. It is a fun - filled two - hour variety show featuring old time fiddling.
This is a Holy Cross Catholic Church fundraiser. For more information call (403) 553 - 3822. Admission is $20/adults and $10/child.




Knights Monthly Breakfast! The Breakfast will take place on Sunday, May 13th following the 10:00 a.m. Mass. This breakfast is being held to honor the mothers of our parish and the children who will be celebrating their Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to come down to the church hall for a delicious breakfast and a wonderful celebration! The cost is $5.00/adult and $3.00/child. Help the Knights to support their charitable projects.

Grade 2 Catechism children will meet for their last class on Thursday, May 10th . It is important that all children attend this last class as it is an important part of the preparation for First Communion which will be held on Sunday, May 13th at the 10:00 a.m. Mass . *Please remember to pray for Micaela Baxter, Marisa Doell, Quinn Gilmar, Nolan Markowski and Cole Tkachuk who are preparing for their Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Thank you: The parish received a $216.00 donation to our operating fund from the “United Way of Lethbridge & South Western Alberta, Donor Choice Program.”

Thank you to everyone in the parish who donated to the Seminarian Fund. We collected $417.00 and sent it on to the Seminarians.

The Diocese of Calgary is approaching its Centennial. Centennial Prayer Cards have been inserted into the bulletin and parishioners are encouraged to pray for our Diocese as we approach our 100 year anniversary on November 30, 2012.

The Crowsnest Pass Memorial Society is still accepting applications from interested people to sit on the Board. The deadline for applications is May 8, 2012.

Informational Day on the Diocesan Priesthood: This day is for men between the ages of 17 and 35 years. It includes talks given by Bishop Henry and priests of the diocese, as well as the celebration of the Eucharist. As a parish family we are asked to remember and pray for Renso & Bonnie Castellarin as they are accepted as Candidates for Ordination to Permanent Diaconate this weekend. Ordination to Diaconate will take place on September 30th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Calgary.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Rita Henry on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the parish.

Thank you to all the CWL ladies who organized and hosted light refreshments following the World Day of Prayer, Taize Service and Divine Mercy Sunday. Thank you also to all who donated food for these occasions.

The CWL invites Parishioners, CWL members and guests to join them for their 10th Anniversary celebration on Thursday, April 26th beginning with Mass at 7:00 p.m. The special celebration service will include a remembrance of deceased CWL, reception of two new members, and presentation of service award pins to eight members. A social in the foyer will follow. Come out and help our CWL celebrate this special occasion.

Calgary Diocesan Country Fair – The Palio. This is an annual family celebration that focuses on building up the faith in our wider community. It will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2012 – Strathmore Rodeo Grounds. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. – Bishops Open Air Mass at 11:00 a. m. Entertainment and activities to follow.
