Band:
Students have the option to learn how to play an instrument or improve their skills in playing an instrument with West Catholic's Mr. LaPrise in weekly classes.
Community Service:
Community involvement is a significant piece of the students' educational experience. Some recent activities include volunteer efforts as a part of the following programs: Gilda's House - God's Kitchen - St. Jude's Children Research Center - Consolata Missionary Sisters - Devos Children's Hospital - Home for the Blind - Toys for Tots - Michigan Veterans' Facility - Parish in Haiti.
Athletics:
Students have the option to participate in eight different sports within the Grand Rapids Area Catholic Elementary Athletic Council's (GRACEAC) organized leagues at no additional expense. Condors compete in basketball, football, soccer, track, baseball, softball, volleyball, and cheerleading.
Collaboration
Students participate in an all-school Advent/Christmas program each December. Second grade students put on a spring musical every year. Student trips throughout the year include bowling, skating, Michigan Adventure, and smaller class trips. An annual Auction for Education and Parish Festival take place with much enthusiasm from the school and parish.
