Knights of Columbus Council 11470 at 604 E. Main St , Georgetown, KY 40324 US - Council Holds 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off

 Our 2nd annual chili cook-off was another success. We had a under-croft full of people tasting 18 different pots of chili. A lot of good food and a lot of great fellowship. We took in $425 cash sales and netted $334 after taking out $91 of expenses. The winner this year was Tim Stout with his "pizza" chili.What a great pot of chili!!! 1st place prize was awarded a decorated personalized bottle of Maker's Mark.
 
I wanted to thank everyone who contributed a pot of chili. Jim Lokovich, Tim Stout, Mark Roberts, Andy & Ruthie & Rainy Pungratz, James Drummond, Jim Yates, Joe Lush, Sherry Kelly, Ed Couture, Kevin Pearl, Janet & Tom Johnson, Jeff Caldwell, Steve Stewart, Larry Prather, and Brian Flanders. Abig thank you to Dick Schweitzer for bringing the hot dogs and buns.
 
Thanks also to the volunteers who helped setup prior to Mass and the cleanup crew after the event.
