Council Activities Right-to-Life Roses October is the month for the right to life Rose giveaway. Last year the Council distributed roses at both Our Lady of Fatima and St. John’s Churches. Donations collected at this annual event amounted to $800 and was given to various Respect Life Agencies. Please watch for further announcements and please join us for this event. Community Breakfasts The Council has been holding monthly Community Breakfasts over the last few months and will continue to do so in the future. The location is the cafeteria at Our Lady of Fatima Church. The upcoming dates are September 16, October 14, November 11, December 9, January 13, February 10, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 6. The menu consists of eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, omelets, Danish, donuts, assorted juice, and coffee. Please support these fundraisers either by joining us for a meal or helping out in the kitchen and/or dining hall. Meals will be served between 8am and 12pm and the cost is set at $7 for an adult and $4 for children between the ages of 5 and 12 or $20 for an entire family. Kids under age 5 are free. Community Dinners The council in association with the Home Association will begin once again to hold dinners at the council home. The dates for these dinners are September 22, October 27, November 17, and December 15. Please support these fundraisers either by joining us for a meal or helping out in the kitchen and/or dining hall. Home Delivered Holy Communion Brother Knights, if you know family or friends who are unable to attend mass, please contact Brother John Buico to arrange for a Eucharistic Minister to bring Holy Communion. John can be reached at 732-778-9373. Additionally, St. Peter’s Hospital is requesting Eucharistic Minister help. To assist, apply through your pastor.
