Schedule:

18 October 2009 - Fall Bingo at Dayton VAMC, Buidling 305.  1:00-2:30 PM.  50 Veterans.  Donations and Volunteers needed.

 
14 November 2009 - Winter Coat Giving at Dayton VAMC, Building 305. 1:00-2:30 PM. Collecting good used coats.  Randal will deliver them to the Dayton VA Center on Saturday November 14 at 1 PM.  If you can help, call 937-704-0712 or randalo@sbcglobal.net

1st and 2nd Week of December 2009 - Christmas Cards.  Dayton VAMC.  3rd Grade School children make cards, to be placed on Veterans food trays Christmas week.  250 plus Veterans.  Meal Trays.
------5 December 2009 - Christmas Decorations.  9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Dayton VAMC. (Entry and Multipurpose Room)

-------2nd Week of December - Christmas Gift Giving at Dayton VAMC.  Specifics to be determined.

7 February 2010 - Four Chaplains Sunday Mass at Dayton VAMC.  Color Corps requested to be present.

 

1.  To insure any and all of the activities sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, are well received and highly successful, requires both financial support and Knights, Auxiliary, and Squires participation.

 

2.  All Knights of Columbus Members (1st thru 4th Degree), Ladies Auxiliary, and Squires

are invited to participate in any of the scheduled events hosted by the Knights of Columbus District 2-Dayton.

 

3. To receive credit as a Certified Volunteer, you must be registered with the VA Medical Center Voluntary Services (VAVS) Office in building 305.  VAVS Office will insure you are issued a Volunteer ID Card, and a VA MEDICAL CENTER Parking Permit.

 

4. If a Council desires to sponsor an individual event at the Dayton VA MEDICAL CENTER, or one of its outlying Veterans Clinics, (Example bingo, billiards, checkers Tournament,) Please let me know, I will be able to confirm the date and any needed support of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

 

5. On confirmation with the VAVS Office of Support/ Date/Time of Event desired to be sponsored at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, an EMAIL or LETTER will be sent to Assemblies Navigator and Dayton Chapter President informing them of the approval and specifics.

 

6. Please insure you Sign-In as a Volunteer, upon arriving at all K of C sponsored events.
