Chapter President’s Report

It is very important that we pay our dues A.S.A.P. Mike Thomas needs the names of your delegates to prepare a roster. I present to you our budget in accordance with the Chapter by – Laws. I would like to thank Brother Doug Sabo and Brother Pat Flynn with their diligence in this matter

Brother Jim Deime Letters sent to all schools and coaches on August 14th, emails were also sent.

Serra Club / K of C Youth Ministry Awards – Hank Borchers

April 18 is show day, need your donation A.S.A.P. You will be able to claim as an activity for your council. We would like $150 from each council.

Rosary Rally – Bob O’Connor

Jeff Wiedeman: Oct 11, Music starts at 2:30, 4th Degree Showtime 2pm, Archbishop Schnurr will be present. This event is expensive $9000 for security and building use, would like councils to donate $200 each to defer cost of event. (see attached PDF)

Shrine / K of C Golf Stagg

Jim Deime: 4 annual Columbian Classic, Oct 18, $65 Steak Dinner and a round of golf. Jim presented a check for $350.00 from the Columbian Classic to the Dayton Chapter. Jim also presented a check from the State convention net proceeds of $750.00 from advertising sales

State Membership Report – Terry Cooney

Our October Blitz is upcoming all councils should be planning for this event with flyers and info at every parish they support. Our big issue now is prior to suspensions the council must have personal contact with the member; retention committee is a necessity at each council to resolve membership issues. During September and November for each new member the proposer will receive $5 toward supreme merchandise 3 members the proposer will receive $20

Sept 30, officer training session great for all officers’ location St Leonard’s. During September and November each new member, the proposer will receive $5 toward supreme merchandise 3 new members receive $20. Brother I believe this will be a great P.F.N. dinner attend if you can and bring perspective 4th degree members
