The St. Catherine of Sienna Respect Life Ministry organized a parish, long-sleeve shirt drive, collecting 700 shirts for Farm Workers. These long-sleeve shirts help to protect workers from the sun, pesticides, bugs and thorny plants. Judy Krzebiot and Bonnie Seeback organized the drive. Guest workers were Annetta Wallace and Seminarian, Brad Reed.
The Office of Life Ministry collected over 10,000 postcards urging Congress to respect life and religious freedom. Postcards were either mailed or, in some cases, delivered to congressional offices. Thank you to all of our parishes who participated and to the many parish staff and volunteers who worked on this campaign. Read more and see pictures.
