De La Salle Blackfeet School teachers got married . A First at DLSB. Philip Ryan Schumaker and Nicole Amber Herth celebrated the Sacrament of Matrimony at Little Flower Parish on July 3rd, 2005. Both were teachers at our De La Salle Blackfeet School. As the story goes they were so involved with their teaching, their first year here, that they did not notice each other. It was in the second year that love happened. The students began first to suspect a new love relationship, then we all began to watch to see how this romance would play itself out. It is not easy to be in love and teach together in a middle school setting, but Phil and Nickie did it gracefully and with Christ as their guide. This marriage truely was made in heaven. We rejoice with them in this blessing received because they were here with us, and we pray that the Lord bless their married life--forever.
