Little Flower Parish at 204 1st St. N.W., Browning, MT 59417 US - "The Big Decision" A Great Play

This was an event that moved us all and made us all so very proud. De La Salle Blackfeet presented the play "THE BIG DECISION", written by one of our own teachers, about a very important event in Blackfeet history. It had to do with the sale of some land by the Blackfeet to the United States Government. The land sold is now Glacier National Park. The words spoken by the Blackfeet in the play are direct quotations, taken from the official transcripts of the negotiatons in the Treaty of 1896. Some of our students played the role of their own relatives who spoke at the negotiations with the government. The play was presented well and very forcefully. Our students felt the importance of the event. It was a wonderful learning experience for us all. It was a play worthy of the De La Salle Tradition. The Dinner Theater was a great success again this year. In this fund raiser the school made over $7000. We are so thankful to those people who capture the vision we have for our school and help us financially. We pray for them every day.
