The Good Friday walk, a seven mile journey from Sacred Heart Church in the town of Starr School to Little Flower Parish in Browning was a fantastic spiritual event. Along the way, at each half mile marker, we stopped to do one of the Stations of the Cross. The weather was the best in twenty years. Go to the Archive Page, (click at the bottom left on the NEWS PAGE), to see a contrast with last years photos. On this journey people were actually taking their coats off. Because there was no wind this year people easily visited with one another or said the rosary together as they walked along-- until the next Station of the Cross. At each station we collected ourselves to be in one mind and one heart as we remembered the Passion and Death of Our Lord. At the Church in Browning we venerated the Cross, and received Communion. We then gatherd at our CCD center for fry bread and tea. It never tastes better than after a seven mile walk.
