He is Brother "John-the-Simple." Brother JOHN is the Shepherd for the Little Friars. He takes care of all the animals around the Hermitage. Brother JOHN loves animals of all kinds and they love him! He sings and talks to them all the time. He has many different kinds of pets and he knows just about everything about how to take care of them. He especially likes to care for wounded or hurt animals. They recover very fast with his loving care.
