 We must share how our Faith called us to these works and transformed us to serve as our Lord’s Hands.

The organizations that are called to participate in the Ministries of Mercy believe that:

·     Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world.

·    All must share our faith stories and proclaim the Gospel message.

·    All are willing to work across organizations to share how we do our work and demonstrate a willingness to make improvements.

·    People of all faith and no faith shall be served by the Ministries of Mercy.  Discrimination of any kind is unacceptable.

·    All services, policies and actions of the agencies and organizations must comply with the moral teachings of Christ and His Church.

·    Service to other human beings is a privilege, which should be both appreciated and revered.

·    All people have God-given dignity and should be treated with respect and care.  Service recipients are to be given the opportunity to decide for themselves on their care options to the maximum extent possible.

·    The community has a right to know all the financial and service information of the organizations.

·    Participating organizations are required to make complete financial and service reports to the community at regular intervals.  We need open and transparent organizations.

·    Donors of time, talent and treasure are to be respected for their generous gifts and recognized for their contributions in accord with their wishes.

·    All gifts are to be well stewarded so that their maximum benefit can be realized.
