Who is the FATHER?

"I BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY, CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH"
Our profession of faith begins with God, for God is the First and the Last,1 the beginning and the end of everything. The Credo begins with God the Father, for the Father is the first divine person of the Most Holy Trinity; our Creed begins with the creation of heaven and earth, for creation is the beginning and the foundation of all God's works.

"I believe in God..."
This first affirmation of the Apostles' Creed is also the most fundamental. The whole Creed speaks of God, and when it also speaks of man and of the world it does so in relation to God. The other articles of the Creed all depend on the first, just as the remaining Commandments make the first explicit. The other articles help us to know God better as he revealed himself progressively to men. "The faithful first profess their belief in God."2

LENT 2011

March 7, 2011
Jesus dictated the following meditations for the Stations of the Cross:

I. JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH
"Jesus, many who witnessed Your miracles agreed on Your death sentence.  Have mercy on those who witness the miracles at this site but still refuse to believe."

II. JESUS CARRIES HIS CROSS
"You accepted this Cross out of love for Your Father's Divine Will and love of me.  Help me to accept the crosses I am given for love of You."

III. JESUS FALLS THE FIRST TIME
"Jesus, I offer to the Father this first fall.  I ask the Father to help me never to fall into mortal sin."

IV. JESUS MEETS HIS MOTHER
"Jesus, I join you now in this present moment in consoling the Sorrowful Heart of Your Mother."

V. SIMON UNWILLINGLY HELPS JESUS CARRY HIS CROSS
"Jesus, help me to accept the crosses You send with love. Help me always to be a willing instrument in Your Hands."

VI. VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF JESUS
"Through love of You, help me to wipe out all my sinful inclinations, Jesus."

VII. JESUS FALLS THE SECOND TIME
"Jesus, do not let me repeat my sins.  Keep me from falling."

VIII. JESUS CONSOLES THE WOMEN IN JERUSALEM
"Console me, Jesus, so that I do not become discouraged by my sinful inclinations."

IX. JESUS FALLS A THIRD TIME
"Jesus, help me to rise above my sins, and to pursue personal holiness."

X. JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS GARMENTS
"Jesus, strip me of all that stands between us."

XI. JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS
"Jesus, the nails pierced Your Flesh just as my sins pierced Your Heart.  Forgive me."

XII. JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS
"You stayed on the Cross until death, dear Jesus.  It was not the nails that held you there but love of Your Father's Will.  Help me to love God's Will for me - no matter the cost."

XIII. JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS
"Jesus, Your Sorrowful Mother held You in Her Arms.  I ask Your Sorrowing Mother now to forgive me for any sins I committed that You died for.  I ask Mary to present my contrite heart to Her Son."

XIV. JESUS IS LAID IN THE SEPULCHRE
"Lovingly, Your Mother prepared Your Broken Body for the tomb, Jesus.  Ask Your Mother to lovingly prepare my heart torn by sin, to receive You in Holy Communion."

"After each Station, simply say:"

"Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make my heart like unto Thine."

March 7, 2011 Monday Service - Peace in All Hearts through Holy Love
Jesus is here with His Heart exposed.  He says:  "I am your Jesus, born Incarnate."

"My brothers and sisters, the greatest sacrifice you can offer Me during this Penitential Season that approaches is to live in Holy Love in every present moment.  In this effort, you are surrendering your free will - making a sacrifice of it."
"Tonight I am blessing you with My Blessing of Divine Love."
