(11-20-09) (Thursday, November 19 - 11:15 pm)
We'll be shipping out to WMC tomorrow morning at 6:00 am. The surgery that Grace needs is not exceptionally long so we pray that this is only a weekend stay. I just got Grace's stuff put away and still have to wrap up a few things. Please pray that we have found the cause of Grace's difficulties in reaching certain goals and that this procedure marks the big push in Grace's healing

Rick was on an emergency prayer line when he had 2 massive heart attacks in a couple of days. He and his wife are both out of work. There is currently a fund for the family. If you are interested I can send you the information. - Rick is back in his room resting comfortably. The cardiologist was able to remove the clot on the right side and blood flow resumed. Praise God as it was a high risk procedure. He remains on the vent (50% oxygen currently and it is gradually being lowered) and Rick’s pneumonia has improved. His heart is too weak for a bypass; therefore, they are going to wait a few days and see if the right side can be strong enough to help a left ventricular assist device (otherwise referred to as LVAD).

Team member, Janice's oldest brother, Ken, passed away today at around 4:45. He suffered a massiave heart attack on Monday. Please pray for his wife of 19 years, Jan, who was by his side for most of the week and there today before he passed.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Doris Stiles, 88, who died this afternoon. May she rest in peace. Pray also for son, Bill & his entire family, siblings included, for healing & strength during this time.

Please pray for Fr. Steve, who will undergo surgery for a detached retina. Ask our Lord for comfort & calm for the rest he will need after surgery.

Erin, our granddaughter sore throat. Her 4 year old son is just getting over H1N1. Pray for healing and that her husband and 7 month old do not get it.

(11-19-09) Update on Frances: Dr keeping her a few days to continue to remove fluid from lungs so she does not get pneumonia. She feels drained and has no appetite, but loves having company!

Please pray for Mario Palmer, from St Vincent’s, who died from a heart attack in the ER while we were there. May God give comfort to his wife of 69 yrs, and his family.

For Joe to get relief from headaches. They come on suddenly then go away shortly after, but cause all kinds of symptoms afterwards from dizziness, sparklers, fatigue, to throbbing. Dr is ordering a mri to see what is cause.

Team member's brother Robert was just diagnosed with cancer. Further testing is required to identify type of cancer, stage of cancer and treatment. Please pray that cancer is treatable and that doctors will be guided to best treatment option quickly. Please pray for strength and peace for Robert and his wife and children as they work thru his tests and treatments

Rick - 46 year old who has had 2 massive heart attacks in the last couple weeks. Possibility may need a heart transplant. Please pray for him and his family. Also both Rick and his wife are out of work.

(11-18-09) Taking 97 year old Frances Z to ER to be checked. She's had a kidney infection since Sunday and antibiotic isn't helping yet. She's retaining water (not good!) and having trouble breathing. May God watch over this sweet lady and her family.

(11-17-09) Wil, Nancy and Herman's 4 year old great grandson - H1N1 flu. Ear infection. Running 104 temp. Pray that he feels better very soon and that his 7 month old baby sister, Mom, Dad and Grandma do not catch it.

We have been praying for Grace to get some good sleep. Here is the answer! Grace had a 6 hour continuous rest last night! YAH!!!! She slept from > 8:00pm to 3:30am, then was very quiet for the rest of the time (no > storming). She also slept another 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon.!  God is good. Pray that she will continue to get good rest and that her progess in all areas will reflect the good that the sleep does for her.

A lady in conneticut has the swine flu, is in a coma, & is 6 months pregnant. The doctors & her family are trying to decide when is the best time to take the baby by Cesarean section. Please pray for the Mom & the baby, as well as the Dad & the rest of this family. This baby has a very good chance of survival if taken in time. Unfortunately the Mom's prognosis is not very good, but prayer does work wonders.

Sharon - team member's sister-in-law, has back problems. She's having a block done on some disc's on Thurs. Pray that the procedure is a success and that it lasts for a long time. Lord, ease her pain and give her comfort.

(11-16-09) Logan - in military, assigned to Afghanistan. Prayers for his safety.

Curt - team member's son on his way to Afganistan for 3 tour of duty. May God's loving hand protect these young men and all who serve in the military in dangerous areas of the world. Bring them home safely, Father.

Kris - meeting this Monday eve to go well. Angels stand guard.

M - Father of 3 just learned that he has a large cancerous mass. Pray for strength and healing. Peace for him and his family

please pray for Jim and his family. They have some tough decisions to make this week. Jim's mom had an Aeortic valve replacement and double bi-pass November 4th and is basicly being kept alive by all the machines she is hooked to. It is really very hard to watch her because she is in pain, but it is doubly hard to watch the family suffer right along with her.

(11-13-09) Greg, Kay and Lee – have cancer. Pray God will give them and their families peace, wisdom and unfailing strength to bear their suffering.

Man in Parkview Hospital with a tumor on his spinal cord and has had several brain tumors. Please ask for prayers for him and his family to accept whatever comes.

(11-12-09) Rick- has just been rushed to Memorial Hospital in Indy and is at the Top of the Heart Transplant list. Their family desperately need our prayers. Rick is 46. They are not really sure what went wrong but 1/2 his heart is dead and extraordinary means are being used to keep him alive. (11-11-09) Norbert – fighting the return of brain cancer. Doctor requested that he have an MRI Wednesday morning at 8 AM instead of the 18th. . Pray for healing.

(11-10-09) Sandra's mom had her regularly scheduled appointment with her oncologist. He said her numbers were elevated and that she needed to start a round of chemo today. After her cancer surgery in 2004, chemo had to be stopped because she was unable to tolerate it. Please keep her in your prayers.
Mark - previously on prayerline for cancer. Has been told it is uncurable, however, they believe with treatment he could live 12-15 months. Please pray for Mark and his wife Beth for strength during this difficult time.

Josiah - handicapped 6 year old who has a permanent trech is in intensive care with H1N1. Pray for him and his parents.

(11-09-09) Stony - died Saturday. Please pray for his family and that his soul may have eternal rest.

Update on Margaret - Has had her gall bladder operation today, but the doctor was unable to get the gall stones removed due to the fact they were not in the gall bladder, but had moved to her bile duct. Please pray, that if it's God's will, He give her the strength to undergo yet another operation tomorrow to have her gall stones removed, and that it be successful so she doesn't have to have a second, more radical, gall bladder operation. Also, please pray for peace for she and her family.

Baby Sarah - born prematurely. Pray she does well.

(11-08-09) Margaret, team member Pam's mother, will have gallbladder surgery tomorrow. Pray for healing of her many medical problems, sucessful surgery and good pain control. Peace to her and her family.

(11-06-09) Tyler - team member's 5 yr old grandson, fell and hit his head last night and is bleeding from his ear..He is in the hospital in ICU with a skull fracture. They're watching to make sure the blood doesn't fill up in his brain and cause damage. He's had 2 CT scans already. Please storm heaven with prayers for this little guy. Ask God to send angels to give peace and comfort to him and to his worried family, and that everything turns out OK.

Megan - that her fever breaks and that she starts feeling better soon so she is able to return to school.

Andrew has had another great day. He stood again with help from his therapist and nurse. But he also did some new things! The speech therapist "clogged" up his trache tube and he breathed on his own for three hours! That is awesome! We are so excited! The other thing Andrew did today was practice swallowing. He swallowed several spoonfuls of a liquid, cranberry Jello. His stomach was able to handle it and didn't reject it at all. Of course, it was given in a small quantity since it was new, but he could do it! Andrew grabbed the phone from my Dad and listened to Jen tonight.

Grace is able to give a sign for yes and no now. Her yes and no responses are good about 80% of the time. So, she is getting there. Grace so wants to talk, so speech is pushing her to speak as compared to pointing at symbols or spelling out words with a letter chart. They don't want this to serve as a crutch for her. So please pray that Grace finds her voice.

(11-05-09) Team member, Pam R's mother, Margaret - Having gallbladder surgery at 8 tomorrow morning. She is in her 90's. Pray for her and for peace for her family ...

Isaac - little boy seriously ill with swine flu. Prayer for healing! Strength for God to bless Mommy too!

For Louis Bohus who passed away, God be merciful to Louis as he greets his maker.
For F and all who suffer with seasonal depression, that this holiday time be a time of rejoicing and happiness as we prepare for the coming of the Baby Jesus. Pray that God will lift their depression allowing them to find joy and peace.

For Dale, previously on pl, having health problems since his new pacemaker. Meeting w/contagious disease dr next wed for clean bill of health to return to ‘normal’ living. Having to go to hosp daily for treatment. For his wife, Bev, his primary caregiver. For her health in this strenuous time, which is wearing her down. That they both have strength and healing, all according to God’s Will.

(11-03-09) Walt - pray team members' uncle was seriously burned while working on a car. His face and hands were burnt and is in the burn unit in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Please pray for healing.

(10-30-09) Grace continues to hyave difficulty sleeping at night which effects her therapy during the day. Her Father, Andy, has this prayer request ~
I pray for Grace's sleep to stabilize so that she can face her demanding days with more energy. Please continue to pray for both Grace & Ashley to continue to be restored through their hard work. it was also a great day for Ashley. She started eating some more things and showed me how she could stand for a while. How beautiful to be with these wonderful girls as they work their way back to the lives they used to have. I have never know love like what I see each day in their faces.

Deloris E has had a severe nose blood since Tues. Went to ER and now to her doctor today. Pray that it is nothing serious and for speedy healing.

Sally - A Mommy in surgery for cancer. Offer a prayer for full healing and God's peace and strength during recovery.

(10-29-09) Crystal who is hospitalized as a result of an automobile accident. Pray that she will be alright.

(10-28-09) Connie Eisenhuth taken to hospital for rapid heart rate.

Eugenia, waiting for third opinion results on her biopsy. The surgeon and oncologist were not satisfied with the second opinion because it was incomplete, so they requested a third opinion from the Mayo Clinic. Praying for a big miracle, that the third opinion will agree with the first one, where they said it was not cancer. Otherwise please pray for acceptance and peace of mind for her and her husband.

(10-27-09) Skyler, 13 yr old, battling something for about a week, continues to have a fever and began throwing up last night. Doctor wants to see him asap. For all suffering from flu symptom

Team member's grandsons, Caleb and Cody - both have tested positive for H1N1. Pray for healing. Dr now thinks Cody had it a couple weeks ago and it's worse this time. At that time he was only tested for strep.

Prayer team member, Barbara's mother, went to be with Jesus on Monday, for her soul and for peace for Barbara and the family.
Ken got out of his chair and felt he had twisted something in his kneecap, please pray, he is on crutches

(10-26-09) Tom - 33 years old. Brain hemorrhage caused a severe stroke. Pray for healing.

Graces dad asks that we especially pray that Grace stay strong and stable through the increasing demands that are being placed on her healing body and brain. She has an infection at the site of one of her tubes and is on an antibiotic. Pray that this heals quickly and does not cause any problems.

(10-25-09) Team member's nephew just tried to kill himself... please storm heaven with prayers for him and his family, and for us to find him the help he needs to get thru this.

(10-24-09) Please continue to pray for Grace to gain more strength in all of her muscles, her cognitive abilities and her spirit. She is slowly returning to the 8 year old that was taken from us by a formerly unknown tumor. We believe in the power of God to restore her and praise Him for the many blessings that He has and continues to bestow on our family. May He bless you, too.

Kevin - died. Pray for his eternal soul, and peace for his wife and family.

(10-23-09) Susan - Infant running 102 temperature. Pray for her healing and peace for her parents.

Update on the baby delivered early via c-section yesterday: the sweet baby clinging to life went home to be with her Savior Jesus. Continued prayers for her first time parents as they cope with this unthinkable loss.

Norma - previously on prayerline, this is from her daughter: She asks that we keep her mother in our prayers, please storm heaven, this woman has been in the hospital for 10+ weeks - She is having surgery this morning. Still on ventolator. Lungs are a concern.

Mike and Mike ( our daughter and son in law) - Just receiived the inspection on the house they want to buy and there are many problems. Several expensive things do not meet code. Their old home has been sold. Money was put toward this house. Several big problems. Meeting with their realtor tomorrow. Pray for solutions to the many problems. They really want this home.

Nancy and all those who are suffering from the flu, we pray that God comfort and heal them and stop the spread of this virus.

(10-22-09) Eli, having his second spinal surgery in 2 months on Friday. Prayers for the surgeon, successful surgery, and healing.

Prayers needed for a baby that was delivered by emergency c-section at 38 weeks gestation. The baby was healthy in the womb & the mother became very sick all of a sudden. When the c-section was done the baby was quickly taken into emergency care where the child didn't breath for over 5 minutes. The baby is clinging to life while hooked on machines. Storm heaven!

(10-21-09) Drew - 18 year old suffering from mono and H1N1 for the past 3 weeks. Severe complications. Hospitalized and undergoing tests today to see if he is improving or will need a serious surgery. Has been through a lot of very serious pain and tests. He needs God's healing touch and some sleep. Pray for peace for his family and relief of the pain that he is suffering. He is on 4 pain meds.(10-19-09) Cindy, Daughter of team member Maria, had a migraine headache yesterday and now has pain in left arm and numbness on one side of her face. Pray that this is not serious and for speedy, complete healing. Peace to her and her family.
