This a Form 100, an application to join the Knights of Columbus. It is incapable of biting you. In fact I know of no person who was ever injured while asking a friend or relative to submit one for membership in our Order.
Every year the Fr. John M. Grady Council loses 5-10 members due to death, transfers and suspensions. During the past 6 years, under the leadership of three different Grand Knights, we have been very fortunate. We have earned the Star Council Award twice and were able to cultivate, recruit and initiate into our ranks over seventy new Brothers.
For our charitable, social, family and religious activities to continue to flourish and grow we must maintain our successful recruitment program. Our council's very existence depends on each of us doing our share to sustain it's fine record of accomplishment. Traditionally, our council, and the Order as a whole, is very selective as to whom we propose for membership. This proccess must be guarded and adhered to if we are to continue this great fraternal work.
We all know good Catholic men who would fit right into our society. Usually, it's just a matter of asking... one on one... face to face.
These applications are not going to get up and fill themselfs in. We need you to hand one to your sons, brothers, dad and friends.
