Education is important for understanding the history and tradition which underlie the faith which Catolics profess in Jesus. Education is also important in understanding what the gospel of Jesus Christ demands of us today. Our educational programs are open to everyone. Please join us.
We are using the "Christ Our Life" series for grades K-1, Grade 2 (preparation for First Communion and Sacrament of Reconciliation) and Grade 3. We are using the "Image of God" series from Ignatius Press for our Old Testament study with the 5th-7th grades and we are using the Catholic Faith Handbook along with the Total Youth Ministry from St. Mary's Press for our post-Confirmation students.
Our adult study this year is following St. Thomas Aquinas' thought in learning Apologetics. We are using Following Christ in the World as our textbook along with Internet notes from Summa Theologica. As the knowledge of our faith grows, we can better share it with the world around us.
