Message from RIVER’s Retreat Coordinator

I am pleased to report that the Spring 2008 Retreat at Moye Spiritual Life Center went phenomenally well! A spiritually blessed weekend was enjoyed by both the retreatants and the team leaders; we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to share the weekend with! I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to coordinate the retreat & am excited to start planning the fall retreat in a few months! I want to again thank the retreat team leaders Anne Poppe, George Polak, R.J. Speiss, & Steve Franchi & facilitator Mary Sylvester for helping me tremendously during the weeks of preparation, the weekend could not have been what it was without their hard work. I am also extremely appreciative for the efforts of the prayer partners & musicians, and to Padre whose spiritual insight and guidance is always a treat. Our retreat theme was Different Gifts, One Spirit and the weekend was a wonderful example of how many different people can bring their gifts & talents together to create a Holy Spirit filled experience!
