St. Mathew Church at 15710 Highway 15 North, Ripley, MS 38663 US - St. Matthew Community

St. Matthew Community

We are a bilingual congregation of about 80 families. Our Pastoral Coordinator, Sister Kate Regan, C.S.J. has been at St. Matthew since 2000.  Our Hispanic Minister, Mr. Sigifredo Bonilla, began the same year.

Our faith community first began gathering for Mass in 1997. After several temporary sites, we moved to our current location, transforming a former drug store into worship and meeting space.  We are looking forward to the construction of our new church building in the near future.

Mission Statement

The mission of St. Matthew Catholic Church is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, where we celebrate everyone from various ethnic, cultural, economic or denominational backgrounds.  Together we seek spiritual unity and social justice for all.
