St. Anthony School at 270 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ 07506 US - Faith Development

All grades receive daily Religious instruction and incorporate faith-filled activities
throughout the curriculum. Grades PreK-4 through Grade 8 attend Mass together to celebrate
Days of Obligation and significant holy days. Students are expected to act appropriately
and participate in the prayers and hymns. The students engage in daily prayer, and have
opportunities to contribute to monthly liturgies as altar servers, lectors and leaders of song.

Students in 2nd Grade are prepared for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First
Communion. Students in grade 3 through 8 are given opportunities twice a year to receive
Reconciliation in the church.
