SS Peter & Paul at 434 High Street, Ionia, MI 48846 US - About Our Youth Program

About Our Youth Program

The Jesus Wall that the Youth Constructed
We would like to thank the volunteers that have come forward and offered to help us build our Youth Group program.  Through this networking of time, talents and treasures we are building a strong team of leaders to serve in this ministry! If you feel God calling you to serve in this ministry please contact one of our head volunteers below and please welcome

Cydni Cluckey as our Youth Events Coordinator  523-6123
Mary Lee as our Youth News Coordinator  616-902-3177  marylee0909@hotmail.com
Chelsea Booth as our Youth Leadership Coordinator  616-292-6450  westie910@hotmail.com
Jean Hoskins as our Community Service Coordinator 517-242-1672

The youth program will continue to be part of the Faith Formation program with Vanessa Booth as the Coordiantor along with the volunteers listed above.  We are working together just as
St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:12-14  "As a body is one thou it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, aer one body, so also Christ.  For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one, body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, adn we are all given to drink of one Spirit.  Now the body is not a simgle part, but many." We are all one body... each part has a purpose and a need--together we are empowerd through our baptism to do Gods will.  Although at this time we are not able to hire a youth minister--
together we will build a program for our youth!
We have created a facebook account for our youth to visit and share thoughts and ideas ygroup Peter-Paul--please contact Mary Lee at
marylee0909@hotmail.com for more details or vanesabooth@charterinternet.com

Soup-er Bowl for caring

As part of our stewardship awareness we joined efforts to benefit the food programs of Catholic Charities West Michigan. God’s Kitchen of Grand Rapids last year alone served a hot meal with a side of dignity and respect to over 200,000 people. Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry is a food pantry program in Muskegon for single parents, unemployed individuals, working underpaid, and senior citizens that has been serving for the past fifteen years. Christian Community Center in Muskegon Heights opened in 1957 and serves men, women and children in the community with healthy hot meals and hot topics of the day. We will registered our collection with our Diocese and will be delivering our donations to the soup pantry in Ionia. R.A.K – Random Acts of Kindness High School Group
