R.A.K. --- What will we do next...

This past Smmer we planned a Car Wash-- We raised over $200 towards our Heifer Internation Project---
Working together--we are making a difference!

We spend an afternoon at the bowling alley--having fun!

Our High School youth have also been invovled with
reaching out to underclassman--- recently our 9th grade class prepared
a lesson on Reconciliation and shared it with the 6th & 7th grade--
We are very proud of these future leaders of our parish!.

In December several of our R.A.K. team came together and adopted a family for Christmas! It was a wonderful experience of community, love and fellowship! Keep up the awesome group guys!

On February 25th the R.A.K group worked at the local soup kitchen preparing and serving food to people in our community. We have been invited to come back every fourth Thursday of the month. We will meet in the church parking lot around 5:45 and then travel to Zion together--we will meet at Burger King afterwards to talk about our experience.
Our Soup-er Bowl for caring project raised $450 for our local soup pantry--in addition to several bags of donated food items.

Our next R.A.K. project is raising money to purchase pizza for community night shift employees. Come to class on Sunday mornings to find out more about getting invovled and doing RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS!

On the 2nd Tuesday of every month all of our youth are invited to join us in our efforts to offer a helping hand to people in the community. At 4:00 pm we gather in front of the Merchants building to help unload the Gleaners truck.
