AFTER CHURCH TEEN SOCIALS
Our first few teen socials were a great success!
After getting all tangled up in TWISTER we stretched our legs and hit the slopes of PANDO.
For the month of March
our 6-8th grade youth
attended
the SHINE YOUTH RALLY
on Saturday, March 28th
A few of our High School youth
attended as Young Apostles--
we are so proud of you and your dedication to your faith.
Several of our other youth
that did not attend SHINE
came for an OPEN GYM NIGHT.
A.C.T.S. Presents--- Sundaes on Saturday
Our April After Church Teen Social was on Saturday, April 26th THEME: Ice Cream Sundaes and Video Games. Everyone brought their favorite ice cream topping to share. After our snacks we opened up several areas for gaming! Games were offered on all levels including those that like a little competition. We introduced our A.C.T.S. GIVES BACK program—donations will be raised to send our youth to various camps and retreats. To play on the competition level a donation of $1 per game wascollected. All other levels of gaming were free. The competition level is one of many ways we will be raising money to build this program to benefit the youth of our parish. May A.C.T.S---
Teens you asked for bowling...you got it! May 16th rolled into action at Ionia Bowl. We filed 3 Pews at the 5:30 Mass and then walked down to the bowling alley. Cost was $7.00 for two games, shoes and pop. What a blast!
June A.C.T.S. was a community Yard Sale to raise money for Youth Retreats and gatherings....followed by a CAR WASH SATURDAY NIGHT after the 5:30 Mass

Thank you for bringing us your gently used, clean clothes and other household items for our sale.
The Sale ran from 9am-6pm on June 25 & 9am-3pm on Friday the 26th.
We raised over $800 to go into our Scholarship Fund to help our youth attend Camps and Retreats!!!

AFTER THE 5:30 P.M. MASS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 27TH WE OFFERED A CAR WASH TO ALL WHO CHOSE TO COME. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT OUR YOUTH PROGRAM! (Afterwards we had PIZZA POP AT THE PARK)
WE ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION DURINGTHE MONTH OF JULY AS WE PREPARE FOR OUR FALL LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND OUR A.C.T.S. IN AUGUST.
WE WILL BE OFFERING A LEADERSHIP DAY CAMP FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING A STRONGER SENSE OF COMMUNITY WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PUT THIER FAITH INTO ACTION. THE TEAM AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING WILL HELP ENCOURAGE OWNERSHIP AND DISCIPLINE OF THE FAITH GOD SO WILLINGLY OFFERS EACH ONE OF US. THE DAY CAMP WILL BE HELD AT THE KNOOP HOME ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 28TH.
OUR AUGUST A.C.T.S. WAS BE HELD AT THE KNOOP HOME. WE ENJOYED A SCAVENGER HUNT, BONFIRE, SNACKS AND ICEBREAKER GAMES.
OUR SEPTEMBER A..C.T.S WAS A FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT HELD IN APOSTLES HALL--FINDING NEMO WAS THE FEATURE PRESENTATION. MONEY WAS RAISED FOR OUR UPCOMING A.C.T.S WHICH WILL BE HELD ON HALLOWEEN---SPIRIT IN THE WOODS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Those looking for a ghostly good time joined us at the October 31st A.C.T.S. at the Knoops home called "Spirit in the Woods". It was Spooktacular! We played games enjoyed snacks & a costume contest. It was fun to meet the youth from St. Edwards Parish in Lake Odessa.
