Sacred Heart Parish, Flint

By decree of Bishop Earl Boyea, on Thursday, July 31, 2008 Sacred Parish, Flint was closed . The parishes of Sacred Heart, St. Agnes, St. John Vianney and St. Luke have been merged into one new parish, with the place of worship for the unified parish community being St. John Vianney Church.

All Sacramental Records of Sacred Heart Parish - with the exception of the most recent Baptismal Register beginning July 19, 1959 - have been transferred to the Archives of the Diocese of Lansing. To obtain sacramental records dated prior to 7/19/59, contact the diocesan archives at 517-485-9902 or fax to 517-484-8880. Baptismal records dated after 7/19/59 have been transferred to St. John Vianney Parish. For those records call the parish office at 810-235-1812 or fax to 810-235-4911.
