SAINT LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH

We are a Catholic Christian community dedicated to God, His Gospel and the service of His Kingdom. We are a diverse gathering of people of many nationalities and we celebrate this diversity as our strength. Our main languages are English and Spanish. We stand firmly in the traditions of the Catholic Church as we joyfully embrace our past heritage, and by using our diversity, bring the love of Jesus Christ to future generations of parishioners.

SAINT LOUIS MISSION STATEMENT

         We pledge to be a welcoming community of believers by providing a place of belonging to all who come to praise God; attracting many who seek to develop a more personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

         We come together to celebrate God's action in our lives, especially as we offer the Sacraments of the Catholic Church to our Parish community. We profess through liturgical worship and private prayer that the Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our activity as Church and we strive to make Jesus the Center of our personal lives.

         We strive to recognize the image of our Lord Jesus Christ in everyone we encounter; regardless of nationality, race or gender.

         Responding to our baptismal call to holiness, we seek to live the teachings of Jesus Christ through prayer, evangelization and the continuing education of both the children and adults of St. Louis Parish.

         We subscribe to the idea of a continuous living stewardship, where everyone in our parish family participates in the sharing of their gifts of time, talent and treasure in Christian charity for the support of the parish community.

We affirm our commitment to proclaim the Gospel by word and deed and to support the poor, the sick, the homebound, the lost, the neglected, and rejected in both prayer and action; sharing first and foremost God's graces.

Arrangements should be made with one of the priests at least six months in advance of the wedding date.
