FaithTrust Institute Formerly the Center for Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence, The FaithTrust Institute addresses issues related to sexual and domestic violence and child abuse from an interreligious standpoint, with emphasis on education and prevention. The center provides religious leaders and victim service professionals with information, training, and resource materials to help them address religious questions and issues that may arise in their work with women and children in crisis. Family Violence Prevention Fund The Family Violence Prevention Fund works to end domestic violence and help women and children whose lives are affected by abuse. The Web site offers free online catalogs, articles and information on abuse and violence, press releases and story archives, information on public policy efforts, and other resource materials. Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence FCADV, works towards ending violence through public awareness, policy development, and support for Florida's domestic violence centers. Serving Florida's 41 domestic violence centers, FCADV runs Florida's toll-free domestic violence hotline, maintains a resource library, and develops posters, brochures, safety plans, and other resources. Harbor House of Central Florida Harbor House, Orange County Center Against Domestic Violence provides temporary safe shelter. A 24-hour crisis hotline. Children, teens, and adult counseling; a Teen Ending Abusive Relationships (TEAR) program in middle and high schools; and advocacy on court and legal issues, including assistance in filing Injunctions for Protection. Education & training programs about domestic violence are available to the public. Holy Family Respect Life A ministry of prayer education and formation for the defense of human life from the moment of conception to natural death and for the preservation of the dignity of every human person gifted by God with life and make in God's image. Mustard Seed of Central Florida Mustard Seed of Central Florida provides household goods, furniture, refrigerators, stoves, clothing, toys and books to those who have suffered from natural or personal disaster and who demonstrate the desire to rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient. Respect Life Office of Orlando The Respect Life Office of Orlando functions as the advocacy arm of the Diocese of Orlando, serving the community through education, legislative advocacy, pastoral care, and prayer.
