St. Anthony the Abbot Youth Group at 20428 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34601 US - Learn More About Our Youth Ministry

Learn More About Our Youth Ministry

"Behold what manner of Love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of God."  1 John 3.

We are the youth of St. Anthony. We are children of God.

Our life teen group consists of high school age students who become Peer Mentors to the younger children once they have completed their Confirmation Process. The Peer Mentors help with the Edge program which is geared for students 6-8th grade.  Life Teen and Edge are part of a world wide Catholic based learning program which is designed to enrich our young students' learning experience about our Catholic Church and community.

We have a lot of fun, we eat a lot of food and we learn about how our young teens can become closer to Jesus Christ. During the school year we meet over at the Holy Hut on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45 pm (the same time as CCD).  During the summer we meet 6:30-8pm and we ecourage the kids (grades 6-12) to bring a friend.

We also need the help of our Catholic community with many of our projects, and we always appreciate adult volunteers who have been trained and finger printed in accordance with the Diocese of St. Petersburg's safe environment practices to help directly with the youth. For more information on becoming a volunteer, please contact the church directly.
