St. Antoninus R.C. Church at 337 S. Orange Ave., Newark, NJ 07103 US - The Fire Fell

There's only one place to be on Pentecost Sunday & that is here at St. Antoninus. People flocked in from near & far with a great sense of excitement & anticipation & they were not disappointed. The LSS candidates were ready, the Confirmation kids were ready & the Holy Spirit is always ready. All He needed were some open hearts & open they were. People sang, spoke in tongues, danced & experienced the "sober intoxication" of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa describes it. It was a true love feast  as God poured out His love into open hearts & the open hearts reciprocated with  praise & WORSHIP. That is the key...WORSHIP. And are we ever privileged to be able to WORSHIP in the fullness of the Spirit every Sunday here at St. A's.
