“Shopping at the Council of Catholic Women Mall” took place on September 6, 2008 at St. Patrick’s Church in Gainesville.  SALES went through the roof.

The day began with the “CCW Café” serving a great assortment of breakfast delicacies, prepared by the St. Patrick’s CCW Affiliation.  Father Julien, Gainesville Moderator/Mall CEO, enthusiastically welcomed all.

The only way to start any Council Shopping Spree is with “Spiritual Refreshment”, and that is just what we did.

The doors opened with The Council of Catholic Women greeter Pam Dewey, and mall representative Cindy Bevilaqua, inviting everyone to come in and experience a day of Spirituality, Camaraderie, and receive knowledge about the Works of Council

The Mall featured a Power Point Presentation “We Belong To What”, and “Why Should We Belong”, which answered many of the shoppers questions.

A tour of the Mall was given by Two Extraordinary Marketeers, who were not only delightful but very enlightening.

Store managers were our own Diocesan Commission Chairs, and their SALES included flyers and information on upcoming events in the next Council year.

Their store LOGO’S said it all.

LEGISLATION       We are here to “Bail You Out”

ORGANIZATION    The Council of Catholic Women are in “Good Company”

After all that shopping, Mall Managers Cindy Bevilaqua, Mary Kramer, and Mary Ann Liller, decided to give the ladies a “Mall Exercise Workout”.  And what a workout, we all had to visit the Food Court to get our strength back.

We closed the day at the Mall with a Special Event “Renew & Rebuild”, which gave us all lasting Spiritual Energy.

Thanks go to the St. Patrick’s CCW, the Diocesans Commission Chairs and Historian, and the Leadership Team, for making the Leadership Seminar a great success.

But mostly we thank the shoppers for coming to “The Council of Catholic Women Mall’, and hope they left with their shopping bags full of new and exciting items to take back home to their own affiliations.
