Daily Schedule Withdrawal Process
8:05 - First bell, Prayer, Pledge and announcements
8:15 - Entrance/classes begin
10:15 - 10:35 Morning Recess
12:30 - 1:10 Lunch Recess
3:00 Dismissal
Wednesdays will be 2:10 dismissal unless otherwise indicated.
Minimum day schedule is a 12:00 dismissal.
Application Process
Parents must complete an application form, pay the $35 entrance test fee, provide a report card from the school previously attended, and sign a tutition contract on the acceptance of their child to the school. The students must take a placement test prior to acceptance and the results must meet the criteria for the grade level applied for. Admission is dependent upon availability of space.
Entrance Requirements
Minimun Age
To be admitted into kindergarten a child must be four (4) years and nine (9) months of age on or before September 1st of the current school year. To be admitted into the first grade a child must be five (5) years and nine (9) months on or before September 1st of the current school year. Where a child has been legally enrolled in another school s/he may be admitted to the school and placed in a lower grade as age apporpriate at the discertion of the admitting school.
Records at Entrance
Students entering school for the first time are required to bring a birth record, a baptismal record (if applicable), and a record of state required immunizations.
Transfer Student Process and Requirements
All financial obligations to previous school must be current.
Special Needs
Admission of transfer students with special needs will be dependent upon the school program's ability to meet these needs.
If it becomes necessary for a student to withdraw from the school, all financial obligations must be met, and the school to which the child is enrolling must write requesting the student's CUM file be sent.
Uniforms (K - 4)
Pants: Navy blue corduroy or twill.
Shorts: Navy blue corduroy or twill. Walking shorts are recommended. They should not be higher than 2 inches above the knee. No shorts are to be worn below the knee.
Shirts: White or navy blue uniform-style shirt, polo shirt, or turtle-neck (no logo). A simple white, non-printed T-shirt may be worn under the uniform shirt. NOTHING may show high up on the neck or below the sleeves.
Socks: White or navy blue solid crew or knee socks or tights. No ankle socks.
Shoes: All black lace-up or buckle rubber-soled shoes (no lug soles). Must be worn all day.
Jackets/Sweaters: Navy blue sweater or St. cornelius sweatshirt. No other jackets may be worn during class.
Belts: Navy, brown or black belts required at all times around waist pants and shorts with belt loops. Belt buckles are to be simple.
Jumper: Mayfair Plaid Jumper (no shorter than 2" above the knee).
Uniforms (5 - 8)
Same as K - 4 except;
Skirts: Mayfair Plaid Skirt ( no shorter that 2" above the knee).
PE Uniform (K - 8)
All black lace-up or buckle rubbersoled shoes.
Uniform shirt.
Uniform shorts, pants, jumpers or skirts.
Solid navy St. Cornelius uniform sweat pants and/or sweat shirt.
