How to Spend an hour with Jesus!

We want to take this opportunity to remind you that every first Friday of the month there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in church beginning at 9:30 am.

Children are invited to come at 6 pm for Children’s Adoration hour, which concludes with Benediction at 7 pm.

1.    Slowly read scripture until something hits you ~ Then listen

2.    Say a rosary ~ Let God look at you

3.    Tell Him something that made you happy ~ Then listen

4.    Tell him what you are afraid of  ~ Then listen

5.    Tell Him what angers you ~ Then listen

6.    Speak about your loved ones

7.    Pray for an enemy

8.    Talk with Him about work

9.    Sing a song for Him in your heart

10.  Promise to trust Him

11.  Imagine Mary sitting next to you and praying with you

12.  Renew your loyalty to His Church

13.  Lean on Him. Tell Him you love Him

14.  Thank Him for the Sacraments

15.  Tell Him your failures ~ Ask for help ~ Then listen

16.  Slowly recite the Beatitudes

17.  Say one Our Father slowly

18.  Say one Hail Mary slowly

19.  Say the Creed slowly 

20.  Pray for vocations

21.  Ask Him to show you the next step

22.  Look at yourself  ~ Count your gifts

23.  Then thank Him

24.  Pray for the world

25.  Enjoy just being in His presence
