St. Gianna Catholic Homeschool Group at 5800 Whispering Oak Rd, Edmond, OK 73003 US - Consecration of the Group to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Consecration of the Group to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Fr. Price Oswalt, Associate Pastor of the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord, has offered to preside over the consecration of our families and our home school group to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 11, Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord. We are asking all families to consider coming to this night of prayer, even if you are unable to participate in the meeting that will follow. We have been invited to join the parish for the Liturgy of the Hours, to follow at 6:30 p.m. Father Oswalt has reserved the patio room for our group to meet from 7:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. At this time we will be electing three families to coordinate our group for 2007. There will be a brief discussion to follow. At this time, the past coordinators are organizing this event and are asking for the three following responses from our Saint Gianna families: 1. Will your family be attending? 2. Would you be willing to consider submitting your family name for a vote to be one of the three coordinating families for the year? 3. Would you be willing to offer your family as one of the families to offer prayer support for those families elected? The main responsibility of the three coordinating families will be to organize and plan the back-to-school Mass with the Archbishop in the fall. All other activities will be subject to the new coordinating families, as they proceed in accordance to their vocation. We need responses to these three questions, no later than March 4th. If we are blessed with possible family names, we will post those names on the Gianna site, as well. Nicole Owens has offered to make a directory of all the family names and phone numbers submitted to her from this group email at nowens1@cox.net. If you could pass that information onto her this week, she will have time to make the directory for us by March 11th. Sincerely, in Christ, Sharon Willoughby
