Father Abel's Biography from the Georgia Bulletin:
Birth Date: Aug. 5, 1967 — Place of Birth: San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Parents: José Guerrero and Mária Guadalupe-Orta.
Siblings: Five brothers, six sisters.
Education: Earned bachelor’s degree with majors in accounting and business administration from College of Professional Education, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, 1989; bachelor’s degree in philosophy, 1995, from Conciliar Seminary of Mexico, Tlaltan, D.F.; bachelor’s degree in theology, 1998, from Pontifical University of Mexico, Tlaltan, D.F.; studied English, 1999, at American Language Academy at Tampa University, Tampa, Fla.
Work Experience: Worked for two years for Ford Motor Co. as manager and accountant.
Primary Hobbies and Interests: Tennis and other sports, chess, reading history.
Pastoral Internships: Sacred Heart Church, Griffin, 1999-2000; also assisted with Hispanic ministry at St. John the Evangelist Church, Hapeville; St. Matthew Church, Winder, 1998; served at six churches in Mexico City from 1992-98.
Additional Languages: Spanish.
Particular Ministries of Interest: Vocations and youth.
First Assignment: Parochial vicar at St. Joseph Church, Dalton, a parish of about 1,700 families.

More about Father Cyriac - Our Parochial Vicar:
Father Cyriac C.K. was born in 1965 in Kerala, India. Kerala is one of the Southern States of India (see: http://www.kerala.gov.in/). Father Cyriac has three sisters and four brothers. Both of his parents are living. After he completed his schooling in 1980, he joined the seminary.
In addition to his philosophical and theological studies, he has also attained a Masters in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
His ordination was on April 9, 1994. He served as an assistant parish priest at St. Anthony’s Church in the Diocese of Bangalore. See: http://www.bangalorearchdiocese.com/
Father Cyriac has also served as a school principal for nine years. He was appointed as the parochial vicar at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Clarkesville and at St. Helena’s on March 1st, 2005.
