Community Action Of
Greene County, Inc.
Is looking for new volunteers.
The Senior Companion Program provides a valuable service to our community by helping our elderly neighbors remain independent and in their own homes. Our volunteers visit with clients on a regular basis and provide companionship and friendship that may not exist in any other way to homebound seniors.
There are also many personal benefits for the volunteer such as a paid stipend, paid training and time off, mileage reimbursement, and best of all, the great feeling of knowing that you are making a difference in someone’s life.
We encourage you to contact us at your earliest convenience in order to answer any questions. Please call Maureen or Laura at 518-943-9205

LET’S ALL SAY THANK YOU
It is almost that time of year again when we all start to think about Thanksgiving and all of the many things that we are thankful for.  Please help us out again this year with sending Thanksgiving packages to our troops.  They are making the ultimate sacrifice so that we can celebrate safely with our families this year, please help us to show them your appreciation.  The box to collect items is in the back of church.  Thank you for your generosity in the past and for the generosity that we know you will show once again this year.  If you know of anyone in the service who would like to receive packages, please contact the parish office.
