The story of St. Joseph Parish is one of faith and community life centered on Christ in the Eucharist and guided by His Word. Despite hardship, the first French settlers in 1819 worked and worshiped together in a simple log church and school. Their faith and sacrifices made it possible for the parish to grow. Others built on their efforts with similar committment while facing new challenges. Today, St. Joseph Parish is a people who continue to seek to make Christ known through our worship and love.
