"No True Child of Mary is Ever Lost." Mary, Our Mother of Perpetual Help, listens to the needs expressed to her in Prayer. In return, she grants many graces in those faithful souls through her Son, Jesus Christ. Attending weekly devotion in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help can be your way of showing your love for Our Blessed Mother. Novena Prayers will help you deepen and strengthen your devotion to Mary, the Mother of Our Church, and Our Mother of Perpetual Help. THE PERPETUAL NOVENA IS SO CALLED BECAUSE THE PUBLIC NOVENA SERVICES ARE HELD EACH TUESDAY EVENING AT 5:30 P.M. FOLLOWED BY COMMUNION SERVICE AND CONCLUDING AT 6:00 P.M. The Novena can be begun or concluded at any time during the year. But most who attend continue indefinitely. When the miraculous picture of Our Mother of Perpetual Help was enshrined in the church of St. Alphonsus in Rome in 1866, Pope Pius IX commanded the Redemtorists, "Make Our Mother of Perpetual Help Known Throughout the World."
