As you may have read in other publications, Pope Benedict XVI has designated the year beginning on  June 19, 2009 as The Year of the Priest, beginning most appropriately on the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The Year for Priests coincides with the 150th anniversary on August 4 of the death of St. John Vianney, the Curé of Ars, patron of diocesan priests.
