Childrens Liturgy of the Word Children in preschool through Grade 6 are dismissed after the opening prayer at Mass to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word, led by a trained catechist. Family Faith Formation Children, teens, and adults take part in Family Faith Formation on the Second Sunday of the month. Special topics of our faith along with prayer and activities comprise this program. Sacrament Preparation Baptism: prepares parents and godparents for the baptism of a child. Eucharist: prepares children in Grade 2 and above for the reception of First Communion. Meets monthly. Reconciliation: prepares children in grade 2 and above for the reception of First Penance. Meets on the Third Sunday of the month. Confirmation: prepares youth in Grades 8 through 12 for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Meets on the Third Sunday of the month. Marriage: prepares engaged couples for marriage by discussing the FOCCUS inventory and the beliefs of our faith. Scripture Study: meets for six weeks in the Fall and six weeks in the Spring. R.C.I.A. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults R.C.I.A. is the process whereby adults are received into the Church as full members.
