Altar Servers (Youth): Coordinator: Chad Nikkel chad@post-frame.com
Most of the altar servers at St. Mary's are young people. Boys and girls must be in the third grade or older to serve in this ministry. Servers are asked to select a Mass time that their family attends on a regular basis so that their attendance and service will be consistent. If interested in becoming a youth Altar Server, please contact us.
Altar Server (Adult): Coordinator: Ken C.
A Senior Server is any person, man or woman, over the age of 16 who would like to assist the presiding priest during mass. This is a new ministry at our parish. The Senior Server will serve on the alter with Father assisting him during mass. The Senior Server will over see the young alter servers while assist Father when needed. The Senior Server will greatly help Father so he can concentrate on the mass and not worry about the incidentals of the mass. This position is ideal for those who were alter servers 5, 10, 25, or 50 years ago or those who would be willing to learn this ministry. The mass has not changed all too much and training should be quite easy.
If interested in becoming a senior Altar Server, please contact us.
